Salmon crash out of 2010 Cup

We lost 7-2 to Tawa ACs today- despite the final score we were quite competitive (in parts). We shipped 3 early and soft goals before battling back to 3-2 at halftime.

Heads up Salmon, there is always next season.

Up for the Cup-Salmon Defeat Bears in the John West Face off

Cup specialists Salmon defeated arch-nemesis the Bears in a rugged battle at a sticky Onepoto paddock yesterday. 2 goals to the Skipper and a scrambled finish by Dan Mitchener saw off the angry Bears.

After foxing in the League the Salmon finally find sopme form in time for the cup- Discount us at your peril is the Message to the other teams.

Upper Hutt Saints __ Tawa Bears __ Harcourt 2 (12.30);

Tawa AC United __ Wgtn Utd Salmon __ Onepoto 2 (2.30);

We are thrown in with the league leaders and the third place getters Saints.
However given our performance against Upper Hutt yesterday (2-2) we have nothing to fear, and we know we can match the Bears, as we have done in the past. However AC United are going to be a tough one to crack
